Student Services

Counselling & Social Workers

We are fortunate to have wonderful counsellors and support at our school, they have many years of experience in counselling, case management and working with young people, helping support them through issues they may be facing, be they short or long term.

Students are able to be referred by their teachers, parents or self-referral,  Students can come down to the Inclusion center before school, at recess, lunchtime or after school for a chat and to seek support. The wellbeing team also play a very large part in organizing and coordinating all of the Wellbeing programs that are run at our school to help support students. They are approachable, caring, knowledgeable and resourceful, and are always happy to help.

Emerald Secondary College also work with the external mental health and wellbeing organisations if the need for specialised support is required, just another support that ESC provides our students.
