The houses are named after the founders of the school.
At swimming, athletics and cross-country you can earn points for your house. The winning house is presented with the house cup at the end of the year.
Whole School Sports Days
There are 3 major sports days held by Emerald Secondary College
Swimming Sports in Term 1 at Doveton Pool
Athletics in Term 1 at Knox Athletic Track
Cross Country in Term 2, around our local area
All 3 major sporting events allows students to qualify for district level and then if successful Regional and State level.

Across the year you have the opportunity to represent Emerald Secondary College in various sports days.
