Year 12 Valedictory
What a fabulous evening we had on Wednesday, celebrating the Class of 2022. Along with family, friends and staff, we marked 13 years of schooling with the Class of 2022 Valedictory. Our graduates looked fabulous in gorgeous formal gowns and sharp suits. Thank you to our Taiko drummers Ruby, Taleisha and Mr K for beginning the evening in style and Nathan and Glaze who performed Night Changes by One Direction.
Each student was awarded a Year 12 completion certificate, recognising the hard work and resilience shown over the past few years. To the Class of 2022, we wish you the best in your next chapter into adulthood. We hope that ESC has given you the tools to continue to be life-long learners, to overcome challenges, to problem solve, to work with others and to finish what you start. These are the tools that will equip you to make confident decisions about your future or have the courage to try different avenues in order to discover your passions. These same tools have helped build essential characteristics for leading successful lives – such as patience, optimism and resilience.
So now that you have finished 13 years of schooling, now is your time to take a chance. To complete that course, take that job you’ve always wanted, travel or have a gap year. Whatever you decide, remember, to grab these opportunities with both hands. Take that chance and have a go. Go out there and be the best sparky, lawyer, childcare worker or biologist. The whole world is out there waiting for you.
Congratulations on graduating. You have been a stellar group of students to work with. Your futures are bright and there for the taking. We wish you well for all that lies before you. Stay safe and stay in touch.
