Emerald Secondary College is fortunate to have a state of the art Inclusion Centre that allows us to:
- coordinate our Inclusion and Wellbeing programs
- provide a safe space for students when necessary
- provide counselling and psychologist sessions in private suites
- run literacy intervention programs, both grouped and individually depending on need
- provide ongoing speech pathology intervention programs for students
- run Student Support Group meetings between students, parents, staff and support workers
- provide allied health services support in a fully resourced doctors office
- run student centered wellbeing programs that meet student needs
- impart ‘life skills’ programs for students to prepare them for a life beyond schooling
- provide support programs for parents outside of school hours for parent convenience
