Overview

With recent funding, there have been significant upgrades to our facilities. The College now has a Senior School Building, a Year 8 Flexible Learning Centre, a refurbished toilet block, new I.T. facilities, and a new bus loop. The College has also received funding for a new Performing Arts Centre.

The VCE and VCAL students have really appreciated the improved learning environment with a larger common area, better study room, upgraded computer facilities, new toilets as well as larger modern classrooms.

Year 8 students are enjoying the spacious Flexible Learning Centre. The centre has four classrooms equipped with the latest Information Technology resources including 20 desktop computers, 10 laptop computers, data projectors and interactive whiteboards.

The two new buildings have meant that we have ten extra permanent classrooms. An added benefit is that twelve portables have been removed from the site. The male and female toilets have totally been refurbished, A and L Blocks have been air-conditioned, there is additional shade/shelter, more outdoor seating and some $130,000 has been allocated to maintenance.

The Performing Arts Centre (PAC) is a welcome addition to our College facilities. Importantly, like the Gym, it is a facility which many in the community will be able to access. The College prides itself on its involvement in the Rock Eisteddfod and the PAC will allow students and staff to properly prepare and rehearse this important event.

The College has embarked on further improving its excellent I.T. facilities. New facilities can be found in the Learning Centre, while two of our more established rooms have recently been totally upgraded.

The College is proud of its other facilities such as the Technology Department, the Library that has some of the best resources that students can use for their studies, a large Gymnasium for Sport and Physical Education classes and Science and Art rooms that are well equipped to allow for effective teaching and learning. We have an Oval, Tennis and Basketball courts, as well as superbly maintained landscaped grounds.
