Mission Statement
- Achieving your potential
- Promoting quality relationships
- Catering for individual differences
These are simple and easy to remember, yet very powerful statements of the core objectives and values of our College.
We recognise that every student has particular skills and talents and that sometimes they are not always readily aware of these strengths. It is our goal to provide every student with the opportunity to achieve their potential in a range of areas whether it be in the academic, artistic, sporting, practical, technological or leadership areas.
We also understand that quality relationships area are an integral element in enabling all students to achieve their potential. We constantly strive to develop a positive learning culture which fosters self - esteem in all students and the confidence to tackle new challenges.
We value all students as individuals and actively strive to develop and maintain quality relationships with all members of the school community. Interpersonal relationships and a positive learning environment are essential elements of all successful schools.
In addition, we value the fact that students are individuals and acknowledge that they have a range of interests and abilities and that one approach does not suit everyone. Our challenge is to provide a learning environment that extends the most capable students yet at the same time supports students who require additional assistance. It is our challenge to meet the needs of all students - whether they are academically gifted, require additional support, or if they wish to go to university, TAFE or join the workforce.
